ABOUT
I am an artist based in New Jersey and New York City, currently pursuing a BA at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. My work explores recurring patterns found in nature, religious symbolism, and personal relationships.
Heavily influenced by my Catholic faith and my family, I draw upon photographic motifs and material processes to reanimate images of the past, granting them renewed presence. My practice investigates the tension between mysticism and materiality within religion, and the psychological and philosophical conflict between the irrationality of faith and scholastic ways of knowing. Within this space, art functions as a conduit for the creation of meaning and expression. I invite viewers to enter a space of reflection where material form becomes a site for contemplation and transformation.
